Yes, it is. I stayed inside the past couple of days because it was colder than I cared to deal with. I got out this afternoon to visit Aunt Clara for a bit.
They’ve gotten away from the book a bit with this remake and that ruins it a little, but it’s still plenty creepy.
Now watch our ghosts kick up again. LOL! They’ve been quiet for a while now. They don’t scare me but they do startle me (and the cats too) at times. Keeps life interesting.
That’s what made horror films back in those days so good. Your imagination did a lot of the work, and mine’s vivid.
Most horror movies made now are “gore-or” movies and aren’t entertaining. Glad they didn’t go the gore route with this remake but it’s still not as good as the original. That one gave me nightmares.

Hi Kathy, we got another 8”-10” of snow this afternoon. The only bright spot is that it’s warmed up out of single digits, LOL.

Doing pretty well now that I’ve had a good dose of scary movie. LOL! I needed that.
Now looking forward to a warm-up this week. We’re tired of sub-freezing temps.

We have 8"-10" of new snow but it has warmed up, (so there's that, LOL).
I went up to son's house in the middle of the snowstorm and visited with his Mom and pups before he got home and he was soaked from helping his friends sweep snow off their cars after Church, LOL!
I needed to get to the grocery store too afterwards.
Pretty treacherous out there but driving slow and 4-wheel drive helps.
Just kicking back and relaxing now.
OUCH! High teens? That’s beyond Bomber jacket weather, into long overcoat weather. BRRRR!
Good timing for a trip to FL! And sounds like a fun time ahead for y’all.
