regardless of what the organization's mission or business is, it makes NO sense to me why the federal government should give tax payer dollars to a non-government organization or business.
As with PPS, Amtrak and NPR, these should stand on their own - or not.

Amtrak has been recognized by the Supreme Court as part of the government in recent litigation originated by the Class I railroads.

I am confused as to how PP is being funded. Does a medicaid recipient go there and PP is reimbursed by medicaid for service provided, or do they get funded by grants and direct subsidy? Also, how does a family rely on PP for health care? Do they do pediatrics, or general internal medicine?
