But the Democrats do. They make sure that the primary field against him is thoroughly diluted with straw candidates to fragment the conservative opposition, the D's cross over and vote for him in the (open) primary, and then field no opponent against him in the general.
Elected two years ago—Democrats very helpful to him in the primaries. I think LG is frightened. I sense it in his body language. So is McVain. They’ve been bad boys, brought down Libya and are trying oust Assad.
Hey I moved here AFTER he was re-elected. To be fair, ~44% of Republican primary voters voted for someone else - which is pretty high for a sitting senator in their own party’s primary.
