EPIC FAIL: Alec Baldwin Attempts To Mock Trump, Fails Miserably

Alec Baldwin attempted to mock President-elect Donald Trump’s slogan, Make America Great Again, but failed miserably.

On Friday, the 58-year-old actor shared a photo on Instagram with his 190,000 followers. In the shot he was wearing a red ball cap with Russian lettering that was supposed to say “Make America Great Again”

But instead of mocking Trump, the actor’s joke backfired since the hat was mistranslated and grammatically incorrect, according to Fox News’s Julie Roginsky.

When she was asked about what the hat actually translated to she responded that the words were “all wrong.”

Must have used the same translator that designed Hillary’s “ reset” button

You know what, Libs? You people have a hard enough time translating English words like "is".

The wrath of Google Translate, no doubt.

For Eng -> Japanese you get pure gobbledygook.

This reminds me of the “Reset” button Hillary gave to the Russian Foreign Minister. The button was supposed to be labelled “Reset” in Russian. It actually said “Overcharged”.

Those liberals, what a wacky group of pinheads.

Looking forward to the day that I can personally congratulate him for his revealing role in 2012’s Rock of Ages: The real Alec Baldwin out of the closet for all to witness.

The words are “Zdyelat’ Amyeriki zdorovo snova,” which literally translates as “To make of America healthy again (anew.)”

It’s a very poor translation of “Make America great again.” “Zastav’tye Amyeriku byt’ vyelikoi snova” would be a better translation.

Translations are parlous things if you're not perfectly fluent in the language you're translating to.

For example, when my brother was in the Army, stationed in Germany, he married a German woman and together they lived for a short time with her parents, neither of whom spoke English. My brother was teaching himself German, and he had progressed to the point where he thought he might try some sort of simple pleasantry with his new mother-in-law. So one day he walked in and, thinking to inquire how her day went, asked her, "Wie geht deine tage?"

To which is wife chimed in, "Oh great! You just asked her how her period was going!"

I almost had enough German language hours for a double major in college, spent a summer in Trier for German language immersion, so I thought I knew what I was doing. It’s a precise language, so it’s easy to think you’re being precise, but then there are subtleties. I tried to compliment an instructor on how she was dressed, and ended up implying that I had some basis of comparison, that she looked better clothed.

One would think that by getting out of Russia that she still wouldn’t be camped out in left field. Every time I hear her on Fox, she spouts the socialist crap and is a Obama apologist.
