We have a nest half mile from our house. Dad loved sitting and watching from the car. Found this site and he was convinced they were our eagal. Finally gave him so much information he understood. He still checked them several times a day/night. What joy for him
The sand cranes are back. Had to stop along road and listen this week Dads comment never failed. “I think I’ve seen more birds today than I have in my entire life!”
I’d say maybe not: I think you missed one or two last time you counted. And he would reply I hadn’t counted the ones behind a tree or down by the stream. We so enjoyed watching the birds. One of the joys in my memory jar!
