It's the sequel 16 years in the making and even better than the original...after their last failed stint in 2001 to overturn an election with multiple bogus objections to the Electoral College Votes, the Congressional Golden Girls return in dramatic fashion with a strong supporting cast of fellow Congressmen and random protesters. Barbara Lee (D-CA) and Sheila Jackson Lee (D-CA) anchor the starring cast, with a stunning last second cameo performance from Maxine Waters (D-CA), one of the stars from the 2001 original.
Other notable appearances: Vice President Joe Biden forced to repeatedly rule on the nonsensical objections that were completely out of order with the House Speaker sitting stone faced trying desperately to avoid laughing at the nonsensical and repeated objections (which continued long after the tally had went well beyond 270 votes) and finally could no longer contain it and burst out laughing at them in the end, and a protestor screaming the preamble of the Constitution as he is dragged out of the chamber.

I found the video archive on C-SPAN. The Joint Session was suspended and the Senators returned to the Senate chamber. Separate votes were held in the House and the Senate on the objection filed (both of which of course rejected the challenge to Ohio’s Electors). The Senators returned to the House chamber and a clerk announced the results of each vote from the Senate and the House rejecting the objection to their votes and the Ohio Electoral Votes were certified and they moved on.
They were talking about 2004: https://www.c-span.org/video/?185006-2/senate-session
If you would have called them stupid, you would have insulted Forest Gump.

God bless Joe Biden. I never thought I would say that, but he really did the right thing!
I see Massachusetts was proudly represented in the moonbattery. Starting it all off, Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Havana). It looks like he got some sun at Fidel’s funeral.
