My Father was a NYPD Lieutenant Detective. The Detectives had in the 1950s had a saying about the FBI, that they “Couldn’t find a Jew in the Bronx”.
Even in the ‘50s, that expression would have been from a generation before! Not many Jews in the Bronx these days!
