LOL. You just KNOW something's gonna happen halfway thru the process. My mil went to the hospital with half her hair pulled thru a frosting cap once, something had happened to my husband when he was a kid (I would have said screw it and started over afterwards but to each their own).
I wasn’t halfway through but just about to color my hair, back in 1999, so the hair was dirty and drab, no makeup of course....as my husband was involved in a head-on collision about a minute from our home. I looked like a horror, lol, at the scene and the hospital ER. I remember his ortho surgeon, at his first appointment out of the hospital, double-taking a look at me as if wondering if I was the same one he saw in the ER, lol.
