President-elect Donald Trump has fired,effective Inauguration Day January 20, every U.S. ambassador politically appointed by President Barack Obama, according to a report published Thursday night by the New York Times.
The Times reports the State Department sent out a notice on December 23 informing the ambassadors of Trump’s order. The move sent shock waves through the diplomatic corps as some ambassadors in previous transitions had been given time to leave their post for personal convenience.

I sense that the smarter dems know they have to pick their battles. I’m sure they might derail one or two nominations, but as Trump mentions over and over in ‘Art Of The Deal’ you go into any situation knowing you won’t get everything. I would not be surprised if there is a designated ‘sacrificial lamb’, a smart negotiator starts by going for more than they know they can get, and knows that not giving the other side at least a small face-saving win can breed more overall resistance than shrewd strategy.
Back in 1993, I was working as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, and had contact with U.S. Attorneys and Federal LEO's. The local AUSA's never made policy or decisions on their cases. Everything they were to do on a prosecution came from teletype from Justice in D.C. I made jokes to the AUSA's that they couldn't pee if their pants were on fire without a teletype telling them it was OK.
I remember when Clinton fired all the USA's. He sacked everyone at Justice in D.C., too. For two solid weeks, the teletypes were silent. No decisions were made on Federal prosecutions anywhere in the United States.

I take that to mean Trump will move ahead by using EOs if Congress dilly dallies. I don’t like him using EOs, but with a RINO congress, there may be no choice.

Congress can impeach them and remove them from office. Notice Ryan and McConnell have done nothing about removing the leftists incompetent judges from office the past two years. In fact, McConnell and the GOP Senate has approved Obama nominees to the federal bench.
Perhaps Trump should send a list of judges to Congress who need to be reviewed.
Bush fired six, and the democrat/communist media/entertainment propaganda complex had a cow. They crucified him for a "massacre" of the USA's. Of course, they made absolutely no mention of the fact that Clinton had fired all 93 of them immediately upon taking office.
Trump absolutely needs to can every single political appointee in Justice, and in every federal bureaucracy, at every level. All 0bama appointees must go!

Trump will be president. He has a right to appoint ambassadors that he feels will be best for the jobs. The people in the military chose to fight for America and Trump will be the commander in chief. I think he will do his best to treat them right.
And our diplomats chose to serve as well. Getting "payback" against them for something the US did to Russia isn't any American President's job.
Why fire FBI Comey? He practically handed the presidency to Trump.

I don’t think Obama and Trump have the same viewpoints. You could argue and say they both want the best for America, but Obama has done some questionable things in the last 8 years. — It’s Trump’s turn now. Hopefully he will make changes for the better. If a few ‘Obama approved democrats’ lose their jobs, so be it.

I just did a quick count on political appointees so the figure I gave may not have been exact which I think I mentioned in #116. It was 4 am and time for bed.
