Not for SCOTUS.

McConnell ought to go nuclear on SCOTUS, the GOP minority never had the guts to oppose a Dem nominee anyways.

filibuster used to be 2/3 vote until Mondale made it 60. Filibuster is not in the Constitution.

We ALL know “Dingy” Harry did not go “nuclear” on the SCOTUS only because there was no vacancy at the time. Had there been one, he would have gone “nuclear” for sure!

Also, If RINO McConnell allows Chucky to delay the VERY REASON many of us voted Trump (SCOTUS), he will show us he’s a liar and part of the problem not the solution... and Trump must Bully Pulpit (aka: Twitter) pounce. For in truth Trump is the 3rd party candidate with few if any “friends” DemWit or RepuBate, in the swamp that is D.C.

Very good point. I don’t remember it ever happening. Republicans, such as Senator Hatch, usually go to bat for such appointees.

There is almost no precedent for filibustering SCOTUS nominees. No reason to allow it as a standard course of action now. The ‘nuclear’ option is perfectly valid and should be instituted now.
