House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Monday that the ball is in the GOP's court when it comes to replacing ObamaCare, according to reports.
Pelosi didnt necessarily rule out working with the GOP on replacing President Obamas signature domestic policy achievement after it is repealed, but said the responsibility to do so will ultimately fall in their lap.
ADVERTISEMENT "The ball is in their court," Pelosi said during a Democratic conference call on Monday, according to ABCs Rick Klein. "You break it, you own it."

Were just aborting something that is unwanted, Nan.
It has provided free health care of dubious quality to the health care underclass of welfare spongers, poor, and chronically ill people at staggering and unsustainable costs financed on the backs of middle class Americans who now find health care unaffordable but mandatory drain on their existence.
Obama has worked hard to delay and hide the true cost of ObamaCare but it's becoming obvious that the only solution for normal Americans is civil disobedience and paying the penalty
Since Obama has been so effective at hiding the costs of ObamaCare by paying massive hidden and often illegal government subsidy payments, consumer have not been hit with the true cost of the program.
Pelosi wants the Republicans to get rid of ObamaCare before it becomes even more expensive, destructive and unpopular than it already is so she can use it as weapon to beat Republicans over the head with health care.
Affirmative. Repeal and nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero.
"If you liked your plan that's too frickin' bad; you get Obamacare or nothing."
The Bolshekrats broke it, the free market will fix it.
Well, Sweetie, we'll have to Repeal & Replace before we see what's in it!
this ball should be shuved up her......................
You simply fight evil, and leave the results to God.
Oh Dr Prixe has a replacement and it works
It really does not need to be replaced, just undone & rolled back.
What needs to be replaced are the uniparty folks, which includes Pelosi.
Correct.
Under Trump's tax proposals about half the people in the U.S. won't pay income taxes; remember the "I win"? So what good would another tax deduction do for them?
So how do we address it?
Socialized medicine is socialized medicine, no matter who proposes it.
I know the new plan will be great as Trump said on the campaign trail. Hope it has a catchy name, for example, the multiple care plans could collectively be called ‘America Cares’. Good marketing will go a long way to gain acceptance for a great replacement plan.
A good start ‘WHILE I FIGURE THINGS OUT’ is to make EVERYONE come under it.
And make it UNLAWFUL for a business to have to collect taxes and union dues.
No waivers, no breaks, EVERYONE- no matter how many hours they work.
That by itself should be enough to turn the Unions & Pols etc against it.
You nailed it.
There is a large (and very vocal) group here, which is all saying “get rid of it”.
Without saying, that what we had before, was just as bad. Now Trump has a big opportunity.
But there NEEDS to be something to replace Obamacare. We do not need to go back, to what we had before. That was just as bad.
And MILLIONS of Americans, were not covered.
Trump I think gets that.
People seem to like the mortgage write off. Only don’t require it to be itemized.
Repeal, do not replace.
