Thank you for the link, SC.
Very kind and thoughtful.
Actually, I don’t go to the movies as much as I would like.
I have only seen “Hacksaw Ridge” of the ones nominated for best picture, it was excellent.
I’d like to see “Lion”, my hubby watched a special on it on TV and it is based on a very touching true story. He said he’d like to see it too.
“La La Land” looks good and so does “Manchester by the Sea”.
Looking at who is nominated, I really can’t say that I would recognize most of them if they knocked on my front door.
Here are perdictions as to who will win, should win and dark horse that I found interesting:
You’re welcome, LG.
I might go see La La Land. Movie critic guy that’s on F&F regularly gave it 5 stars, which he very rarely gives any movie. I’ve seen the ads on TV and it’s a musical, which I like. We’ll see.
well with the EC done in congress and shots at airport in Fla, this is an OT/insignificant post.
Not sure about LS.. but I go to movies a lot due to not having a life.
This is what I posted on FB this morning
(Oh and BTW saw Lion and Jackie this week. Lion was exceptionally good. Jackie I did not think well cast . Have seen other movies of the Camelots and the actors actually looked a bit like LBJ, RFK, JFK etc..
