I have relatives who voted for Hillary or another candidate. I have no problems relating with them as long as we don’t talk politics. However, one distant relative can’t get over the election and posts every negative thing she can find related to Trump on Facebook. I chose to unfollow her temporarily. It’s not that I don’t like her; it’s just that her posts were starting to affect my affection for her. I will check back in three months or so to see if she has settled down yet/ In the meantime, I avoid the negative news/
I’m not a fan of Facebook but it is a way to keep up with far-flung family and friends. I rarely unfollow someone unless they are (1) playing games with their friends (”guess why I’m so depressed”); (2) using their Facebook page to promote their business too often; or (3) pretending to be someone they aren’t.
That is a perfect description! They are so deluded that they are creating these evil Trump cartoon characters in their own heads and talking about them as if they are real. That is what moves their mental state beyond humorous to me and to the level of truly damaged. And that is where my attitude goes from disdain to sympathy, even though I know the damage is often self induced.
I got “unfriended” on FB from am extreme Trump hater because of something someone else posted on my page. lol Yeah, whatever. These people are as close to deranged as anyone I have seen. I am glad she lives across the country or I would not be surprised to be physically attacked.
People who hold their friendships hostage to politics are emotionally stunted ideologues - Stalin would be proud.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... tO TOP IT OFF HIS pROFILE AT hUFFY LIST’S HIM AS DEPARTMENT HEAD (NO PUN INTENDED) “Queer voices”....Honest to God!

I apologize for the double posting...i could not believe what I was seeing.
Again, in that person’s dilemma, I’d have to suggest diving off the nearest tall overpass. For a few short seconds, He/she would be free from the restraints of gravity, and forever free from the stress of having a “friend” vote for Trump.
What a candy-ass mama’s boy. No loss for the lady that he could no longer be friends with.
Since 1828, only 6 times has a two term president been followed by another president of the same party. We live in a two party system country. The pendulum swings back and forth, control flips between parties, and it has done so very consistently for the last 200 years. The peaceful transition of power from one side to the other has been the envy of the world for two centuries. If you want to live in a country with one party rule, move there. If you have to protest in the streets and cannot accept what hundreds of millions of people have accepted for 200 years, you simply need to understand that everybody knows YOU are the problem. Not the rest of us, not the country, not the electoral college, not the Russians. You. (Not to mention that you are the only thing on this list that you have any control over)
The comments from that article were made by some of the most self righteous and obnoxious a-holes in existemce.
“Virtue signalling” is the term you’re looking for. It’s baked into all the SJW nonsense.
My wife had a friend since childhood who dumped her after the election. These people are beyond reason.
It is frightening that these people see themselves as tolerant, caring, and democratic. All they ever do is malign people who don’t agree and the two most used words are racism and hate. They have no arguments because everything is about emotion. They are lost to reason, and they scare me. They have no idea that they are really looking in the mirror and talking about themselves.
Self-righteous narcissism is a hallmark of the democrat party.
I never give Huf’n’Puf a click if I can avoid it. Synopsis, please?
A real friend will be sitting in the cell next to you saying " Man, was that a great time, or what!?"
The plumber, electrician, septic service guy, carpenter, mason, etc. saying "Sorry, I can't help you, you voted for Hillary" would certainly get their attention!
