Mine was in a neighborhood of Boston that was “Changing”. This made it very difficult to screen tenants and not be accused of “discrimination”.

I always thought it was unfair because I had to live in the same house with people whom I thought could be “undesirable”.

Did you get out of it? I admit I had to walk away from mine in the end. One of the houses I used to live in but had to move due to the increasingly hostile environment and crappy schools. Became a landlord mostly by default.
