It takes a CVN 24 hours to get back to sea after recall.
In that 24hrs they hope to recover at least 4/5 of the crew. The ship is never without a minimum crew of 1/3.

I don’t think it will happen but neither would I be surprised if Obama starts a war before he goes.
It would be difficult to get all the Muslim nations together to attack Israel right now. But looking at what Obama just did in the UN, one could claim he has set the stage. There is a bitter standoff however between the main southern states (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar) and the northern ones (Turkey, Syria and Iran).

That 24 hours is extremely important, especially if ALL carriers are inport somewhere...Totally irresponsible of the Pentagon to allow this to happen...Obama administration is probably 100% behind this, looking at their actions the last week...

That seems like a serious situation to me.
It's pretty obvious Obama's trying to touch off a war for his successor to handle.
The only ones who didn't already know this were us, let me assure you. Friends and enemies alike track our CVNs as closely as the weather.
