ESPN was among the hardest hit, with viewership falling nearly 12 percent from last season, according to the Nielsen data.

ESPN apparently has been taking advantage of their "captive" audience to inject their politics and opinions.

Sports fans want to escape from the daily barrage of politics when they turn on the tv. Sports fans do not want to be insulted by unpatriotic displays by greedy and selfish athletes. Goodby to football.

Not only that, but have you seen some of the shows and “personalities” that pass as sports news on these channels? I’m looking at you, “First Take” and “His & Hers.” We used to watch Mike & Mike religiously every single morning. Then Mike Greenburg became so insufferable we haven’t turned it on in quite some time.
