But this is the best that they can come up with:

That first sentence simply says it is likely they were able to get something from the DNC. The second sentence is a jello-sentence non sequitur that “information”? What information? And “the U.S. Government”? What, Joe or Valerie? And “assesses”? I take that to mean a guess for propaganda/fake news purposes.
