The Congressional Budget Office has stepped into the Obamacare repeal fight, issuing a fierce warning to Republicans in the form of
a sternly worded blog post. CBO is the governments nonpartisan scorekeeper, the agency that tells Congress how much new programs cost and who theyll cover. This is important, because in principle you could provide insurance coverage to everyone while spending practically nothing if you were willing to make the insurance totally worthless.
Obama signs E/O's and memos, then "delegates" to federal agencies, his orders to come up with plans (that patriots recognize as advancing Boobamba's global conspiracy to overthrow the US govt).
The federal agencies then "invent" Committees to do this (the better to overthrow the US govt). Then "Administrative Rules," after a comment period, will be published in the "Code of Federal Regulations," which magically turns them into law........ using federal fairy dust.
So Obama's E/O's are shielded from responsibility---he doesn't have to take the hit if and when his orders fail.
Behind closed doors, he tells federal factotums and various swamp denzens what he wants.....and faster than you can say "the combo plate w/ extra hot sauce".....the overthrow of the US govt commences.
=====================================================
THE "DELEGATION" HORROR STORY--A Federal agency MO since 1946. It's down to a science: (1) publish a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM), (2) make the comment period really short, (3) stonewall any negative comments, and, (4) publish the rule, which (5) NOW has the force of US law.
No Congressman was ever involved, and Boobamba doesn't leave his DNA on it.
Yet again, why "Delegation" is ominous for liberty---why the writing of administrative law by federal agencies - is un-Constitutional (hat tip to FReeper Regulator.)
Very first thing: Fire the pencil pushers who posted the statement in the first place. Poof!
Fake news alert!
i have known two people who really needed medical care...
one has been told she has to wait 3 or 4 months to have a painful hernia checked...... the second one had nine doctors all say they will NOT accept Ocare or Medicare patients, period
as far as these limited experiences go, it seems that O-care is pretty much worthless anyway. Expensive but not very good, needs to be repealed. Let local communities and states deal with things locally, the fedgovt is almost horrible at delivering high quality consumer services anyway.
...governments nonpartisan...
Are they Joking or what?-)
I would not call the CBO nonpartisan.
Wait, wait, wait. So, people having their Rights restored (vs. ‘mandate’) as well as $$ (subsidy paid so others won’t ‘spend so much’ of THEIR own $$)....is bad.
But a ‘law’, that hasn’t even been fully implemented and still swirling the drain (premiums/copays out the roof, same # of ‘uninsured’) is good.
Gotcha, CBO. STFU and GTFO.
PPACA + EMTALA + Mental Health Parity
All drive up costs.
All got to go.
“Memo to President Elect Trump: Clean out the CBO”
The CBO (Congressional Budget Office) is Congressional.
Congress needs to haul out its trash.
Why yes, yes it is. :)
“CBO is the governments nonpartisan scorekeeper,...”
Nopartisan my arse. The left converged the CBO long ago. The CBO is also amazingly incompetent in their forecasts on costs.
CBO warning from Vox on a blog post?
Seriously ? LOL...
You can’t get more Fake news then that...
This is nothing more than a fake talking point for liberal talking heads...
The CBO is just another part of the swamp that must be — and will be — drained.
CBO are statist losers who NEVER presided over a balanced budget ever.
CBO are statist losers who NEVER reduced a budget ever.
Ivy League Lawyer Losers. Worthless.
The CBO has long since been politicized.
Vox.com? Bravo Sierra!
No mandated coverage requirements, federal or state.
Suppliers need to fight for a place in the policy holder benefits manual.
