When you're 84 and possibly in fragile health yourself, losing your child suddenly is bound to create stress than might lead to your own health crisis. Sadly, that's obviously what happened to Debbie. She was at her son's home and they were discussing funeral arrangements. Debbie said she wanted to be with Carrie, and then she suffered her fatal health crisis.
Heartbreaking, but in a sad way also uplifting that love can be so strong it can transcend death.
There is a scripture in the Old Testament (Song of Solomon?) that says that love is as strong as the grave.
