That has been a problem in my party, that when we’re in power, we’re nice. We bend over backwards to work with people.

Does she mean when she said George W. Bush's cabinet was straight out of the Confederacy? Or is she talking about when she told the Tea Party to "go to Hell"?

Yes, that’s what she meant. Far too nice.

If she had the power to pull it off, she and the rest of her kind would send their enemies to the ovens.

And not as pastry chefs.

Ahhh...you know how it works for them. Civility for thee, and not for me.

I gave that up, being “nice” to liberals. I view liberalism as evil, and playing nice and finding middle ground with liberalism is like playing nice and finding middle ground with evil.

I am not playing that game anymore. And if I hear Trump say things like “My esteemed colleague across the aisle” and not have sarcasm in his voice, well, that isn’t something I want to hear.
