Somehow I suspected VR was all about illicit sex.
The only thing I can think of was that it was obtained “under false pretenses”, and they found a student who was willing to push the issue, and decided to lock a scumbag up over it. Trumped up, maybe, but more than likely, correcting a mistake made the first time around.

I have no idea as the articles in the paper did not say. However, I would assume that either the coeds were under-aged or he violated the terms of his probation.
The one person at work who stayed in touch with him via email (Or phone, not sure) retired. I have no idea how or if he changed.
At lunch he would argue things like, it was okay for an adult to have sex with younger people because of Lolita. (That was the name of a critically acclaimed novel about such an affair.) Besides, who were we (the societal we, I’d guess) to judge others?
He was loud, had an obnoxious, nasal Miami Jewish (although he was of Italian descent) sort of accent and everybody within ear shot was entitled to his views. I would guess that would not go over well in prison. Also, he was ultra-blond with a Prince Valiant hairstyle that he kept permed. I’m guessing he was used in prison as he was a slightly built man with zero muscle.
LOL...well he obviously figured it was time to have real sex...it’s his first time, give him a break!
Doubt it was underage if they were college. Probably violating terms of probation. Sounds like he got his just rewards.
PS.I have observed that when someone invests energy into defending immorality. they are usually guilty.
They can’t be unaware of the number of stings that are run, and yet, they can’t help themselves. One suspects that the risk of arrest is as much a part of the thrill as the possibility of sex with a teenager.
Entrapment. The “bait” was appealing enough to get him to come out of hiding. Maybe some dumb 15 year olds will be a little safer when he is put away.
I am all for that kind of entrapment, BTW.
