The voters of other states do not represent your state.

The Constitution gives the states very wide latitude in deciding how their electors are chosen. But you do make a very good point.

I suppose it will all come down to who is sitting on the Supreme Court when this case is heard.

Yes I agree on both points. There is wide latitude, but only a trained lawyer could agree that allowing people outside your political body make decisions for your group is representative government. On the other hand, the members of the Supreme Court are all trained lawyers.
