The London Financial Times reported that Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said immediately after the appointment that Beijing is now monitoring the policy positions of the incoming Trump Administration: As two major powers with broad mutual interests, co-operation is the only correct choice.

“Fluctuations”
Little help.
I would also love to see a limit placed on the number of Chinese who come to study in the US. Why are we educating our enemies?
Oh well, here we are decades later....after that huge sucking sound of jobs leaving this country.
Now we have around 94 million Americans of working age out of the job market. Flooding the country with refugees, illegals and H1b visa holders from foreign countries. Our economy/GDP limping along, interest rates for savers near zero, national debt close to 21 Trillion, Trade deficits in the hundreds of billions, more people on disability/food stamps/housing assistance since the 70’s, worker benefits slashed, pay stagnant for a decade or more.
And the country chose to elect Clinton, Clinton again (to embarrass the nation), then Bush, Bush again and last but not least...that dumb @$$ muzzie lovin marxist.
Yea, lookin back on it, Perot would have made a fine president. Couldn't have been any worse than that listed above.

Summary - The faceless masses of welfare kings and queens who pretend to do useful work as "public servants" by doing everything they can to stymie the Free Market and Free Enterprise, leeching the lifeblood from the economy they help to kill.
The obama years of ‘lay down and hope nothing happens’ agenda... have caused the nations of the world to forgot we are the greatest nation ... and so have a lot of our citizens and ‘leaders’. The snowflakes of this country do not understand peace through strength... and shake in fear at a strong leader.
The wars we have fought and won .. the deaths of those who gave their lives for our freedoms.... the days when Hollywood joined in those wars... the snowflakes do not know those days. If there had been reporters of today, on those boats that went ashore at Normandy and saw the men being killed as they landed... brave men who knew what awaited them... still obeyed orders .. and those who did get through that line of fire... if the same thinking was then as is now.. we would have lost that war.
The freedom bought with such a price... and used by idiots today who have not a single clue.
US dollars is the #1 GNP for Mexico.
What’s the numbers for China and around the world?

The whole article is just great. Made me smile all the way through.
Well said.
China has no interest in cooperating with the US. They are our natural enemy because they intend to take our place in the world by knocking us down.
They will keep pushing, never retreating. Never even considering an end state where they are not the worldwide hegemon, and we their servants.
The sooner America wakes to this reality, the more likely we are to survive.
If someone says, “nattering nabobs of negativity” in German, they create it as a single word.
nattering nabobs of negativity in German= MERKELS
That about sums it up!
Two things stick in my mind from his campaign.
1) A TV reporter asked him about our trade policies and he said something like "If you take a look at our one-sided trade treaties, it would make you cry." I didn't know the particulars, but could just imagine, and I wondered whatever happened to those "sharp Yankee traders" I used to read about.
2) In one of his TV speeches, he held up a large photo of a Ford plant in Mexico and asked "What's wrong with this picture?" I looked and didn't see a thing. Then he pointed out the obvious - there were no parking lots. He made his point and continued "Unlike American workers, the people in those plants can't afford to buy the product they make. They are bused in from nearby barrios."
I used that last in my arguments against all those "Free Trade" proponents - and never got a rebuttal.
