Perhaps the U.S. steel industry lost market share because management did not adopt new methods of production after WWII.

I’m finished arguing the point. Some are beset in the fact to let Government pick the winners and losers in a FREE MARKET. Good thing I didn’t start that internet based small goods business with global trading partners last week to maximize my profits via low seller.

The Government now says I can’t or if I do I can’t make as much as I want to because the Government says I can’t.

Good point. We couldn’t do today what we did in WW II. The rules and bureaucracy would take yearm to hurdle and the war would be lost before we could produce the first tank.
