Exactly. We keep hearing Hillary won the popular vote.
Hillary got 48% of the vote. She had a plurality but not a majority.
52% voted for someone other than Hillary.
Nobody bitched about the electoral college when Bill Clinton won two elections while getting less than 50% of the popular vote each time.

I'm quite sure that there was a large disparity in how many votes it took to get an EV in Calif. vs. Fla.
In Calif. the EVs are way cheaper. Somebody needs to investigate.

Your point is ignored by the Old Main Media, and the other issue is that if you remove the Republic of Kalifornia popular vote, TRUMP WON THE POPULAR VOTE.
Do Americans want CA and NY picking the President from here on forward? Then the undoing of Article Two of the United States Constitution is just your ticket.
