This is sad that this idiot politicized himself. I read his book “Kitchen Confidential” and it was the most useful information I ever got on what to watch out for in the restaurant business.
He is a very good writer. Now I discover he’s an idiot.
I read it, too, and also watched some of his travel shows, which are very interesting in spite of his being pretty unlikeable.
I liked the TV adaptation. F’n Fox. Cancelled it after a few epis (Firefly, Keen Eddie anybody?), and was able to eventually watch the remainder via IMDb/Hulu.
