About half of the people in our Church are armed, men and women, and we know who we are. Quite frankly I think it is foolish not to be. Our small Church would not be a target, it is way to small to " make a statement". Still It is not a bad idea, to be prepared just in case.

We offer a CCW class from time to time.

It is a nutty world out there. Stay safe!

A small church would be a target of convenience precisely because it’s more of a soft target. I don’t know what good a couple of armed guys in the parking lot will do in the face of a dump truck ramming the building at speed, or if a bomb is planted.

Going to have to organize and guard them, I’m afraid. But, a small local Methodist Church was targeted by arsonists not too many years ago, twice. Social media threats, deranged evil teenagers. They still managed to burn it to the ground, despite guys guarding it parked in their pickups.
