Unfortunately Islam is a religion.
State and religion have been the one and the same over most of history, whether it was divine kings, divine right kingship, the mandate of heaven, the slaughterhouse religion of the Aztecs, the Judges of Israel, the Cult of Emperor, the Atheistic Communist State, the Cult of Reason, etc.
What we have now is actually an exception to this that has only existed for a very small part of history.
We need to reconsider religious freedom, but we must remember that anything we use against monstrosities like Islam will, inevitably, be turned against Christians.
My husband has the same argument. Understood.
They can only be stopped by destroying their centers of ideology: Mecca. Medina. Riyadh. Qom. Quetta. We have weapons capable of doing so in an instant.
There is not a perfect solution. Too, I am God knowing individual but I know God is leaving it up to us. I also know that goodness will prevail, Godliness will not fail.
