What was ‘hoax’ about it. Did he not really create the graffiti? Did he try to profit off of it?The hoax part is that it will be assumed that a racist white male did it, rather than a racist brown male.

This guy will easily beat either a hate-crime or hoax hate crime charge for two indisputable reasons:
1)The name "Jasskirat" is ethnically from India.
2) India is home to two religions, "Hinduism" and "Jainism," that have both used the swastika as a sacred symbol for a few thousand years before the Nazis:
