My pet theory is Gingrich was authorized to say this as a smokescreen. Trump needs a few of the swamp creatures to help enact his agenda during his first year, so this is going to be the unofficial word for a while.
Trump will likely drain the swamp without saying so.
I can handle that.

Good point. Part of being successful in politics is the ability to tell people to go to hell with a smile and a pat of the back. Trump has that skill.

Trump needs a few of the swamp creatures to help enact his agenda during his first year, so this is going to be the unofficial word for a while.The idea Rush is introducing that Trump is going to make significant changes to how the President gets things done (not illegally, like the Kenyan, but administratively) is very interesting. I'm ready for that kind of change.
