So, what do these parents have against a little crippled child?
>>Environmentally friendly corrosion inhibiting cleaners exist
Looks like maybe they need another extension or few on the Squeegee/sponge stick.
What if Trump told all of the schools that if anyone opposes this kind of stuff and sue he will make sure that no negative outcome to that school or individuals will occur. (He has a pen soon.)
The idiot who penned that screed, is a reverend. A sick female who believes she has an angle.
God Bless Everyone :)
“Tiptoe Through the Tulips” should be part of the Christmas Carol soundtrack.
OTOH, the length of the stick is probably irrelevant - since it seems the Janitorial Staph are having difficulty progressing beyond the “dealing with fresh fruit” phase of the course...

Dickens wrote Tiny Tim as hoping “the people would see him in the church, because he was a cripple, and it might be pleasant to remember upon Christmas Day, who made lame beggars walk, and blind men see.”
It is precisely the one who made lame beggars walk, and blind men see, that these people object to.
You cannot have A Christmas Carol with portions of it excised for political reasons. Either do it, or don’t, but don’t mess around with our literature and traditions.
Little timmy says allah akbar and kills ever in the play..including the audience.
NYTAnd CNN rave it’s the greatest revisions of A Christmas Carol ever?
When my kids were in school, I discovered that the world was rapidly changing.
One day, I asked the kids when Christmas vacation started...I got blank stares in response. A little more prying, and they say “Oh, you mean winter break”.
Curious, I went to the school’s online calendar. Sure enough, the word Christmas had been wiped off. This makes even less sense, when one considers Christmas is a federal holiday.
Anyway, I wouldn’t assume the students (or parents) necessarily ‘get’ that this is a Christmas story, as Christmas has been relegated to a roll of minor sideshow, during ‘Winter Break’.
Out of curiosity, I just revisited the calendar. Its always informative.
Labor Day - Check
Columbus Day - no mention
Veterans Day - no mention
Thanksgiving - Check
Christmas - ‘Winter Break’
Martin Luther King - Check
President’s day - ‘Staff Day’
Good Friday - ‘Staff Day’
You nailed it - can’t have no crippled snot praising God....
I thought it was going to be "He hoped the people saw him in the church, because he was a cripple, and it might be pleasant to them to remember upon Christmas Day, who made lame beggars walk, and blind men see."
The parents also want to change the characters name from Tiny Tim to Vertically Challenged Tim.
Our local high school, also in Pennsylvania, put on a Christmas Carol play last year. No complaints from anyone and the kids did an excellent job.
And so, the dummocrap sickness continues. Obviously it is very contagious. Perhaps we should get NIH working on a vaccine. What should we call it? How about “Being a Thoughful Adult Who Faces Life Like an Adult, Not a Sniveling Infant” vaccine?
Can’t an administrator/board just say, “Thanks for your concern, we’ll be having the play (or reading the book).” Is it really that hard?
I bet it was a teacher.
apparently, the entire work force of the school objected to putting on the play, because it carved into ‘education time’, which they claim is mandated by the state; in essence, they never cancelled it, because they never scheduled it...and because it was not part of the fifth grade curriculum, they would not agree to be participants in it...
they did offer this little nugget; parents are free to set up theiir own after school play, if they want one...
