Now here is the assassin

Again, the ambassador was shot in the back. Almost certainly (judging from the article of clothing standing straight up on his abdomen), he was hit at least once in the spine. His instant reaction was shock and pain, and he grabbed toward his chest. Then he fell straight down and onto his back. So what blood pooled out, did so into several layers of clothing (shirt, sweater, jacket lining and outer jacket material) and under his body.

In the assassin's photo, he is face up. He has only a shirt and jacket on, and from the marks on the floor, he obviously did not go down immediately, but slid or crawled back toward the wall.

You are not correctly interpreting what the photos show.

Examining the Assassination in Ankara
There are many possible motives for the attack on Karlov: An angry Turkish citizen could have been upset by the recent rebel defeat in Aleppo, or a jihadist group could have been seeking retribution for Russian action against terrorist groups in Syria. If the attack on the Russian ambassador was, in fact, an angry response to Moscow’s involvement in the retaking of Aleppo, it would be a violent aberration of recent anti-Russia protests at diplomatic buildings worldwide. And if it is confirmed that the attacker was a member of the Turkish National Police, which was infiltrated by Gulenists prior to Turkey’s recent coup, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan may clamp down on the Gulenists even harder, whether or not the attacker actually had links to them.

Granted, those two photos limit the view and leave room for 'interpretation'.

I have been told that a separate video does show blood. More info provides better conclusions.

I do find it hard to 'believe' what I 'see' on the news, because many times it is fake. Therefore I tend to be very skeptical until I can confirm the 'news'.

Why did this Ambassador not have any 'security' ? Why was this assassin allowed entrance, and to sit behind the Ambassador, and have a GUN ?
