Not that I’m aware of. Normally it’s straight forward. Problem is that they spent like 30 minutes doing speeches and listening to childrens choirs. Then when they actually got down to business discovered that 4 elector seats were vacant. Now under state law they have to elect replacements on the spot. First they have to take nominations for each, get a first and second confirmation for each nom, then close the nom process for that seat with a first and second confirmation. That’s for each seat. They have to do this four times. Then, THEN, they will vote for each seat. Seat them, swear them in. THEN THEN THEN they will vote.
