It was the Dem leadership that exposed these electors to all the abuse by publishing very detailed contact information on the web page of the Secretary of State for the Commonwealth.

Publishing any other person’s contact information without their express consent should be a crime.
AFAIK, all state have accessible public records listing the name and hometown of electors.
Some states (New York and Kansas come to mind) appoint electors from current or past state/local government officials, or from political party officials. That will probably become more popular next time because they already know what to expect.
