Ever since Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton in last month’s presidential election, liberals have been whining about how “unfair” this result is. Now, the Democrat lawmakers in Congress have launched a sick plan against Trump before he’s even inaugurated that may result in his impeachment.
Right Wing News reported that Sen. Elizabeth Warren is working on a bill that would force President-elect Donald Trump, future FLOTUS Melania Trump, their youngest son Barron, Vice President-elect Mike Pence and his wife Karen Pence to put their assets into a blind trust. This would prevent any conflict of interest during Trump’s presidency while also preventing any political appointee from having any interaction with businesses controlled by the Trump family.
The bill will make it so that if Trump and his family refuse to comply, he will be impeached immediately. However, the president-elect is expected to announce how he will deal with this issue sometime this week.
Warren’s efforts to bring about this bill are supported by Sens. Ben Cardin, D-MD.; Chris Coons, D-DE.; Dick Durbin, D-IL.; and Jeff Merkley, D-OR.

The Democrats need to get the Middle Finger Salute. And that is what I expect Trump to do. There is NO requirement for him to put ANYTHING in trust. And they could not get or pass impeachment based on such nonsense.

During the 115th Congress, Dems only have 194 to 241 Republicans.
If it should get passed the House, Dems are out numbered in the Senate 46 to 52 (with 2 independents.)
IF it were to make it past the Senate, it would land on
President Trump's desk
Where he would immediately veto it.
Now it would go back to the House, where it must get a 2/3 vote to pass, (290 votes, Dems only have 194) then to the Senate, also for 2/3 to pass (67 votes, Dems and indees only have 48)
No super majority...No law

Any Bill sponsored by Elizabeth Warren is DOA. I hope the people of Mass. wake up and get rid of her in 2018, but given Mass. voting record, I am not confident that will happen.
I cannot see how real estate holdings, essentially golf courses and hotels, or private clubs could in any way pose a problem regarding conflict of interest. Clinton’s or even Bush’s holdings in no way match Trump’s holdings in any way, shape, or form. Trump is not invested in oil wells, armaments, military suppliers, or any of the other businesses which could create conflict of interest. The whole situation is ridiculous. I would like to see every member of Congress, both Senate and House, divest themselves of their holdings or put them in a blind trust when they take office. What is good for the goose is good for the gander as far as this business is concerned. We would see far less millionaires created while in office, supposedly serving the people, instead of serving their own interests.

All Pocohaunt-us has to do is get Ryan and MacConnell on board and a hlf dozen senators and a couple dozen GOP Congressmen and she is on her way.
