I think Comey wants to live
I have a slightly different take. I think Brennan’s attitude is if he is going to be taken down when the Trump Admin arrives, he’s going to make darn sure that Comey is going down with him. He’s hoping that his comment here puts the final nail in Comey’s coffin, additionally being done at the behest of both Obama and Clinton, I’m sure.
Brennan is most likely twisting the truth as to what Comey actually said here, or is just downright lying. Brennan’s real audience here is Trump, to make sure Comey gets the boot too. Especially when he heard FBI’s Comey had called Trump a day or two ago, and totally contradicted what CIA’s Brennan said about Russia’s alleged involvement in this U.S. political election’s affairs.
There is no credible evidence that Brennan is a convert.

Trump should appoint Sheriff Clark as FBI Director.
So if they are saying that Russians, or even the Russian government, hacked the DNC and Podesta’s emails that cast Clinton’s campaign in a negative way, if she hadn’t been colluding with the DNC to defeat Bernie Sanders or if Podesta’s emails hadn’t shown what total scumbags they were then it wouldn’t have been a negative for her. Reports are that Russians tried to hack the RNC but were unsuccessful. Moral to the story? Don’t be a scumbag and have good email security. But the insinuation that the hacking physically changed the vote count is ludicrous. The only effect on the election was to shine the light of truth on the otherwise dark and corrupt campaign of Hillary Clinton. Or in other words
“Wah...the Russians exposed me to be what I am when I thought I’d boughten off the US legacy media from exposing me”.
In 2010 Hillary’s State Department helped Putin’s opponents in Russia’s election. But it’s OK when “we” do it.
Ok. They wanna go there, time go up on the Hill and swear to this under oath. Until then the directors of the FBI and CIA can KMA.
If this ends with indictments of the Clintons, all is forgiven.
If we look hard enough, we might find evidence that the media tried to bolster Hillary’s campaign, but we’d really have to dig.
How desperate are these creeps? They actually think it’s a plan to scapegoat Russia? Once the Russians are convinced of your fecklessness, unpredictability and outright selfishness...WHAT MIGHT THEY DO?
What I want the Russians to do next is hack Hawaii’s Bureau of Records and dig out Zer0’s long form birth certificate. Yep! That’s the ticket!
The Clintoniacs fantasize that Comey done Hillary wrong and ruined her coronation. So I can imagine Brennan either taking it upon himself, or being ordered, to smear Comey as payback, since their delusion requires them to believe Comey supports Trump. Trump hopefully can figure this situation out for himself. If Comey remains in place — the President can’t just fire an FBI Director with years left on his 10-year independent appointment — Trump will be stuck with an FBI he can never fully trust.
Has anyone discussed why it would be better for the Russians if Trump is president? According to Scripture, they are going to go after Israel next, for the oil and gas, after Syria lies in ruins, and Trump is extremely tough on Israel, whereas Hillary could care less.
Aside from having a sane fellow world leader, that is.
