“No such thing will be forthcoming. Neither the Courts nor the Congress have the desire or will to do such a thing. They consider the matter closed.”

I agree, with the caveat that new evidence could change that. The Arpaio press conference did not reveal new evidence.

“They don’t stand by them. You can’t even get them to admit the one Obama has posted is the one they sent. So far, they’ve never been put into the position of being forced to support any document.
Until Hawaii takes a stand and owns up to a document, you can’t even appeal to your “full faith and credit” argument.”

Well, the state of Hawaii may not have stood by the documents to your satisfaction but they issued Certified Letters of Verification for the Obama long form birth certificate that were received by 12 elected and appointed Republican governmental officials: 2 Secretaries of State in Arizona and Kansas (Bennett and Kobach), a Reagan appointed federal judge in Mississippi (Wingate) and the nine elected Republican Justices of the Alabama Supreme Court (including two of the most conservative, originalist judges in America, Tom Parker & Roy Moore). None of those 12 officials challenged the Hawaii Certified Letters of Verification and each of the Verifications assured the officials that “the data on the copy (of the whitehouse.gov image) matches the data on the original copy in our files.” Those verifications have proven to be “good enough for government work.”
Arizona Letter of Verification confirms 11 data points as well as the whitehouse.gov copy.

“And we know this how? Because he or one of his sycophants have said so? Why are you so quick to believe what people tell you in absence of actual proof?

I would actually put more stock in a souvenir birth certificate with his infant footprints from Kapi’olani, then I would from anything put forth by Hawaii state government at this point.

No one had any motive for lying when they created one of those.”

The information came from a book written about the 2012 election: “Double Down: Game Change: 2012”
We’ll have to wait to see if the Kapi’olani souvenir birth certificate shows up in the Obama Presidential Library.

But "letters" written while not under oath, are not proof of anything. Hearsay in writing doesn't amount to anything. I have looked at these statements by these officials involved. There was always a loophole in them.

The information came from a book written about the 2012 election: “Double Down: Game Change: 2012”

I thought that would be your source. I was aware of it, and that someone wrote this claim in a book is not proof of anything. Still, if Obama has such a document, I would find it more persuasive than anything that came from the state of Hawaii.
