Supposedly, as reported at conservativedailypost.com and the lastlineofdefense.org, Wikileaks is about to release Report #1078645 in the very near future. That report supposedly: 1) Details emails from Podesta in which he makes references to paying big money from HRC’s advertising fund to the Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina and John Kasich PACs/campaigns to stay out of the fight; 2) Details payment(s?) to John McCain; and 3) Makes an indirect reference to the fact that Paul Ryan was paid to disinvite Trump from speaking at a party event in Wisconsin.
I’m waiting to see if the report actually exists.

I had the same opinion until very recently and I hope you’re right. However, I’ve been an intelligence officer for 40 years and have observed similar events in other countries - sometimes up close and personal, and sometimes from afar. And, having worked for or with virtually every one of the 17 agencies of the Intelligence Community (IC) in some capacity over those 40 years, something is definitely wrong and it isn’t good. Agencies within the IC, like the CIA and the FBI, generally don’t get along, but they do NOT do battle in public.
Even in the case of so-called soft coups - most of which fail, a great deal of damage is done. Even in the cases in which soft coups fail, if the perpetrators of these clearly seditious acts aren’t brought to justice and exposed, they rise again. And, having learned from the experience, they generally fare better on their second attempt.
If this was a “soft coup” it is a dammed clumsy and incompetent one. Contrary to your assertion, this is poorly coordinated and amateurish. Each attempt has been fairly easily undermined and defeated. Nothing that is going on is a serious threat to Mr. Trump assuming office on 20 January.
What we are seeing is the disorganized efforts of various branches of the establishment to undermine and de-legitimize Mr. Trump and his incoming administration. While I have issues with Mr. Trump during the campaign, I never doubted for a second his competence. The transition team is quite aware of these efforts and have responded accordingly.
These attempts are akin to the thrashing of a gazelle trapped in a lion’s grip. The establishment knows they are in deep trouble and are doing anything, no matter how ineffectual, to stop it.
The left never gives up. Their goal is to turn this country into a communist “paradise”, after replacing Whites with certified victim group members who unfailingly vote democrat, and taking all of Whitey’s money and giving it to them to reward them for voting democrat.

The bottom line is the amenability to assassination. If the divides in our intel agencies are that polarized, they will be the first to start disappearing each other if their opposition seem to be winning.

We have been under a soft coup attempt for some time now. Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Clinton, and definitely some RINOs et al have been at it for a while with their accomplices in the media. But as you saw, there are those fighting back. And people saw it and reacted at the voting booth. They are still trying and if they succeed, there will be Hell To Pay.

I strongly agree with you! There is too much at stake for them to allow Trump “to have” the presidency but they have to make it look like something that it is not! If people recognized it for what it really was” an attempted coup” there might be resistance besides we have a reputation to uphold as the land of the free and the home of the brave. We’re not some Banana Republic ya’ know!
Hence the ideological subversion continues and the propaganda machine is chugging away over time. In my article, posted here, “Are You Ready for the Coming Revolution?”, I specifically made the claim that our government has been hijacked some time ago but that an illusion is being kept in place- to keep resistance at a minimum. I think that what has happened has given us a good glimpse of how members of our own intelligence community and the CIA are involved. I think this adds more clarity to President Kennedy’s assassination and the people who were on the grassy knoll. Kennedy did make the statement that he was going to shred the CIA and break it into a thousand pieces. Maybe they got to him first and Oswald was just part of keeping up “appearances” and misdirecting attention away from them. It’s all well orchestrated as you said.
Things are not looking good since this hijacking of our government appears so deep and so entrenched -— but the hope that I have and that I can offer you is found in my postulation that Trump fulfills the great Monarch prophecies and if this be true, then by God’s power Trump will be maintained in his position, he will succeed regardless of the IMMENSE opposition to him. He will succeed because it is God’s will. I pray and hope that I am right about the prophecies for nothing will be able to stop him then,GOD TRUMPS WHATEVER CARDS THEY’RE HOLDING. ( That’s why prophecy can be so important. It can be a light in the darkness and the confusion.)

In order for the Dems to succeed, they would have to cause many republican electors to change colors. One or two or five, maybe. But not 36. It has never come close to that, and it would be such an exception to the “rule” that it would drive us to civil war.
That is not going to happen.
If the soft coup is successful in denying the Presidency to Trump then it’s civil war plain and simple.
Honestly, I don’t think it’ll be successful; very few coups are successful. However, in the unlikely event that it is, I think you’ve nailed it.
Are Clapper & Comey waiting out the clock? We know Brennan is zer0’s man, but the other two? Even Brennan may only have a small contingent of yes men under firm control. The rest of the agency may be also waiting for 1/21/17.
As long as Lynch and her corrupt Department hold power, it would be futile for FBI to do anything. They are already pushing back by not dropping the various investigations into the Clinton Foundation/Initiative/Library.
Clapper has already stated there was no Russian election meddling. He could be depriving the narrative of oxygen.
It looks to me like Brennan is the obstacle & everyone else knows it. Kennedy may have threatened to dismantle CIA. Trump will likely actually do it. Anyone there who is not corrupt may already be preparing to claim whistle blower protection.
