After seeing how my mother withered away with Alzheimer's, I think I'd rather go out in a mercy killing.
Sounds cold, but I'll be wary if I get a large crucifix for a Christmas present.

Not intending to hijack this thread but,
We are dealing with 2 parents with dimentia and it is sooo... sad. Medical technology can keep our bodies alive well beyond what nature intended.
