IIRC Newt was a history teacher in a former life, years ago.
That popped up in my mind when you said that.
I watched a few of them.. then the reject liberals came unglued and forced him out of Congress. (Yeah, I know Newt had an affair during this time period... But as a Republican, that was a far worse crime than what ol bjClinton was doing in the White House.)
