President-elect Donald Trump announced Monday that he would appoint Goldman Sachs President Gary D. Cohn as the president’s chief economic adviser and director of the National Economic Council.
Mr. Trump said that Mr. Cohn would be able to put his renowned business know-how to work for the American people.
“He will help craft economic policies that will grow wages for our workers, stop the exodus of jobs overseas and create many great new opportunities for Americans who have been struggling,” Mr. Trump said in a statement. “He fully understands the economy and will use all of his vast knowledge and experience to make sure the American people start winning again.”

So no matter what argument I bring you will always not understand it, and I will always be an idiot to you.
I have several problems with the picks. They are however qualified for the jobs, I never said they weren’t. But I fear that they’ll just use their positions for more crony capitalism. Which is the opposite of draining the swamp.
Hopefully they won’t, and will end up being great for America and Americans.

Cohn won't be working for Goldman, when he is the economic adviser.
He's one of the $1 a year men, so shan't be making ANY money from his position and neither will his friends.

He’ll have Trumps ear, and will have a lot of influence over economic policy. But surely he cannot use his position to enrich himself. Nope, not at all!
Trump is taking $1 a year and many of those who are more than happy to work for him and this nation, are doing the same.
Ever hear that "insider trading" is a criminal offense and punishable by some rather heavy duty fines and jail time; unless, of course your last name is Clinton and probably Obama.

Is that the go to card when not holding our own cantidate accountable? Attack the messenger? Sounds as bad as an Obama worshipper. You can say la la la la la and it doesn’t go away no matter how hard you close your eyes and scream for the bogey man to go away. I voted for Trump but that doesn’t mean I won’t call it out when I see it. I also won’t hero or celebrity worship as many around here continually do when they tie themselves in knots to justify their positions.

I just question why, after Trump pledged to clean the swamp, would he get GS people on board?
