Only an act of Congress can change the December 19 date, not a court. That’s not going to happen.

And, no one can change a passed law without going back to Congress, yet Obama changed ObamaCare 18 times AFTER it had been passed.

The Obamacare law gave the president wide discretion in enforcement. That doesn't exist under the 1846 law that sets the dates for the various aspects of a presidential election. Either an act of normal legislation changes the dates, or Obama and Congress declare martial law, annul the Constitution and set their own dates outside the law.
