I use the Pillsbury roll-out pie dough. It’s good and a lot easier than making my own.

Just made a buttermilk pie when our Deplorable houseguest was here. It’s my aunt’s recipe and always reminds me of our family holiday gatherings.

I don’t make it often because it’s very sweet.

Good to know about the Pillsbury dough. As I think I mentioned, I have a great recipe for quiche in my French cookbook, but as I recall it is a bit time intensive (haven’t made it in some years).
