They do say *hacked*, not *forged*.

I am no techie, but it is my understanding that emails carry codes or protocols that can be checked to verify that what is seen at the end of the chain is what was sent and that the sender is authentic. It is also my understanding that the Podesta emails were verified as unaltered and sent by/to Podesta.

So, yes: they are true.

It’s called DKIM.

DomainKeys Identified Mail.

Good article about it on Brietbart, it basically reads an encrypted key embedded in the email that verifies it was sent from the email account listed and has not been modified. The article below has a better description than I can offer of the top of my head.

But...why would Russia and Putin want to help Trump? Putin already knows Hillary and knows he can control or at least manipulate her, Trump is an unknown, drives a much harder bargain, and would be much more difficult to deal with, and Putin knows he cannot control Trump.

Also, he probably already has Hillary’s emails and could blackmail her to hell and back. So why would he try to help Trump? Unless he just wants a seriously alpha male adversary he knows will be a major challenge to deal with if he wants to be a combative adversary. Trump will be a brick wall to Putin’s push for expanding his range of influence, Hillary would enable it.

Putin helping Trump win the election makes no sense whatsoever. I would believe it a lot sooner if they said he was helping Hillary, and that’s obviously not the case.

I don’t think Putin was anything more than an interested observer.

This nonsense about Russia hacking has been a crock from day one, Hillary and her band of fiends needed a scapegoat. My biggest worry is that Obama still has enough time in office to provoke Putin to the point he pisses him off and we get a major confrontation before Trump can take over. But I never believed the idea that Putin and/or Russia was responsible for the hacking or the Wikileaks emails.

In addition to that, this comes from the Washington Compost, I think I remember it right, so I Consider it highly suspect before ever looking at it.
