The Marx-O-left controls the culture: Schools, The Media, Entertainment, The Arts.

Education is certainly a major factor and one key on the cultural piano that I have been banging for years.

School choice would certainly help as would returning control of the government's socialist-entitlement K-12 schools to the local communities. One step at a time. The final goal should be complete separation of school and state.

Fundamentally, nearly every teacher in this nation was trained by godless Marxists in Marxist run colleges and universities. This is true from pre-K through university graduate school in both private and government schools.

Scary! Yet...Where is the urgency? What are conservatives doing to confront this threat? I don't see much.

You’re the one trying to twist my words...

I didn't "twist" your words....I merely copy/pasted them...(that the government should remain neutral)

to claim I was saying the government should not oppose ISIS.

Well...You just did it again.

I was talking about the entire homosexualist ideology, which is inimical to many religious believers, and pointing out the government should not be promoting it, and at most should be neutral.

The government treats islam as though it's a religion, and to remain neutral would allow what I said....

Just like this:

Fury as watchdog says it's OK to send gay people death threats – but only if you're Muslim

(Netherlands) In a shocking move, the taxpayer-funded hotline said it would not pursue a criminal complaint over horrific messages from radical Islamists because the Koran says gay people can be killed.

... According to Dutch media advisors from the anti-discrimination bureau MiND said that, while homophobic abuse was usually a crime, it was justifiable if you were Muslim due to laws on freedom of religious expression....

They argued that the Koran says it is acceptable to kill people for being homosexual, and so death threats towards gay people from Muslims could not be discriminatory.

In a jaw-dropping email explaining why they could not take up the complaint, they wrote: “The remarks must be seen in the context of religious beliefs in Islam, which juridically takes away the insulting character."

My words in context obviously said that government should at most remain neutral AS REGARDS THE HOMOSEXUALIST IDEOLOGY, as that was the topic under discussion. In no way did I EVER suggest that the government should remain neutral about the inhuman barbarities of ISIS or other Islamist militants.

Well, what you said was:

People have a right to hold traditional moral views on sex and sexuality.

In the case of "traditional moslem morality" that' means throwing queers off buildings.

Then, in the very next sentence, you said:

The government should not be endorsing views inimical to many religious believers, but at most should be neutral.

"The government" thinks that the maniacal murdering moslems are "religious believers"...

So according to your exact words; You said what I said you said.

We already had them getting slaughtered in Florida....the camel-raper probably thought he had a green light.

In no way did I EVER suggest that the government should remain neutral about the inhuman barbarities of ISIS or other Islamist militants.

Well, whether you did or not, that's exactly what they've been doing.

OK, I will once again try to be 100% clear. Obviously freedom of religion is not absolute if it involves giving license to murder. That was NOT in the least what I was advocating, because that was NOT the subject of discussion. The subject was the homosexual agenda and ideology that the US government is pushing, and that is what I believe religious believers have a right to object to and which the government should not endorse or at least remain neutral about. So you can continue your malicious slanderous hobby horse, but I have said all I will say on the subject.

Just go f*** yourself.

*Gasp*....and on a Sunday!

So, just what part of your deeply held religious belief system does that come from?

Do you eat with that same mouth? Do you kiss your children with that same mouth?

DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano poses with the DHS Pride board of directors. Adam Sulewski is at far left.

The faggots are completely out of control, and on our tax dollars to boot!

The party is over queers.

Payback coming

Big Time.

This won’t be a fight Trump will be willing to engage. The persecution of Christians by the Lavender Mafia will undoubtedly continue and, I predict, escalate. There are very few people who see the gay rights movement for what it really is: cultural Marxism and therefore think we have bigger issues to deal with such as national security and the economy.

I’d also add that it isn’t just fed gov jobs. I work in the private sector for a large healthcare corporation with 50,000 employees. I had to sit thru an LGBTQI training seminar last year that was incredibly offensive to my Catholic faith on so many levels, but they don’t give a damn. There is no religious freedom in America anymore and the homos are a protected class.

Separation of church and state is a false narrative created by the atheist left & secular humanists to oppose things like prayer in schools and a nativity scene in front of your local town hall. I think what you’re referring to is the right to religious freedom guaranteed by the Constituion (no, Islam is not a religion). Religious freedom died a long time ago once tax payer funding of BS “non-profits” like Planned Parenthood forced those religiously opposed to abortion & contraception to pay for it. There are countless other examples.

Where we are in the fight against gay marriage was only the logical end point once people embraced things like removal of school prayer, elimination of “Merry Christmas” from our culture, “sexual freedom”, contraception and, subsequently, abortion.

Although I agree with the premise of what you’re saying, with all do respect it’s more than just name calling. These people are vicious character assassins. I work with some of these transgender weirdos and they’re the most thinned skinned group ever. People are so afraid of them because any perceived offense on their part can cost you your job, professional license, etc. I have a mortgage and three kids.

Bottom line is that the LGBTQI group has been empowered. Big time. They’re more than just cry babies. They want your full blown acceptance of their lifestyle. Or else......

I agree with what you are saying. Small pockets of resistance is actually dangerous to us as dissenters. They are that ruthless.

What I am talking about is more of a cultural tide change. This happens over time. At one time, not even that long ago, the tide went the other way. That rapid change is by design because the homosexuals know that they only have a limited time in which to overtake us while we are still in a stunned state. I know a lot of people who were with that moral tide and are now being swept along with this one. It has happened so fast, that they seem to have not completely made up their minds as to whether they really go along with it, and for certain they are victims of too little information.

As they become more knowledgeable about how foul the cult really is, I think they will start to resist in larger numbers. That awakening is impeded by the cult being allowed to white wash every disgusting thing about their lifestyle. People who don’t take the time to research what google doesn’t want them to know will wear the blinders and continue to think it is just another form of normal. Even as powerful as the LGBT lobby is, they can’t keep the truth hidden forever. It will take all of us resisting to push these petulant, mentally ill characters off their self serving pedestals.

If went don’t do this, I believe that the future of western civilization is in danger.

By the way, I am also “surrounded by blue” and there are sexual deviants absolutely everywhere in my city and my kids schools, so I understand where you are coming from. It is a very dangerous corner we’ve allowed them to back us into.

I agree. The Marx-O-Left owns the culture: Schools, The Media, Entertainment, The Arts, and even many churches.

The Marx-O-Left are masters at calling good evil and evil good.

Unless conservatives seriously address the culture our nation is doomed. Yet, I see little in the way of concern or urgency on the part of conservatives. Even here on Free Republic the current political issue of the day will get far more responses than any thread on the culture.

Let's look at Islam. When did that ever swing back?

You may remain pessimistic if you choose, but I won’t share that position. About Islam, either.

“Have you considered removing your kids from school?”

We have considered it, yes. Didn’t do it, though. My sister did and it is working out well for her. Public school has been something of a “teachable moment” for our family, our way of hardening them for the liberal onslaught of college. I wouldn’t recommend it for everybody, though. You’ve got to stay in constant contact with your kids to make sure that they are not getting pulled off track. Our HS senior is staunchly conservative and stands up well against his liberal friends. He’s even willing to debate them, though they usually turn petulant. I think he finds that amusing.

I think the most overtly liberal teachers he has had have been the college professors in the dual courses these last 2 years. There is no way to argue with them, even when what they say makes you boil. We get an earful when he gets home from classes.
