Hello and good morning Deplorables- checking in from the sunny southwest portion of the USofA... Peoria, AZ.
Looks like a good crowd. RSBN is working fairly well today. Multiple speakers so far. Now a local congress critter representing Baton Rouge speaking.
Anyone onboard the Trump Train from the bayou state?
First time I stepped foot in Louisiana I was hanging under a parachute. True dat’ Jumped onto a grass runway in De Quincy. Flew from Beaumont, TX, crossing the Sabine River, into good ol’ Louisiana. Biggest mosquitoes I have ever seen live in that neck of the woods. Dined on alligator gar cooked to perfection by a Cajun electrician I was working with, building a Sonic Drive In.
The Mississippi governor is whipping the crowd up in great southern fashion.
Crowd breaks out into the happy birthday song for the departing governor of Mississippi.
Trump is on the way.
We should get a treat with the arrival of Trump Force One, as I’m guessing- it will be up close and personal.
My dad was stationed in LA for a few years when I was little - we lived in Lake Charles - only have a few memories of it. We didn’t have a lot of money and one treat was to go to an ice cream shoppe that friends owned or managed. Yum! Sometimes on Sunday after church we’d drive around and look at the mansions - lots of trees with Spanish moss hanging off of them. I don’t recall if we lived in base housing (off base) or not, but I do recall that a lot of military people of all ranks lived around us.
