7. CO2 dissolves in water. Earth’s oceans, making up 2/3 the surface area removes CO2 as well. (How much and at what rate I don’t know).

CO2 dissolves in water.

Fortunately CO2 is then used by photoplankton because CO2 dissolved in water makes carbonic acid, and globally changing the PH of the oceans would be an issue. The thing that has surprised folks is the speed at which CO2 is taken up by plants to fix the Carbon and release the oxygen.

Temperature solubility feedback though. The modeling is not easy.
