In January 2014 President Obama referred to ISIS, one of the most vicious terror armies to ever exist, of being a "JV team."
“The analogy we use around here sometimes,and I think is accurate, is if a JV team puts on Lakers uniforms, that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant,” Obama told the New Yorker at the time.
After that comment the group marched from Syria to Iraq, taking large swaths of territory, pillaging and raping along the way and slaughtering thousands.
Now with just a month left in his presidency, President Obama is saying he was surprised by the capability of ISIS to control major parts of the region, becoming a world wide threat.
"The ability of ISIL to not just mass inside of Syria, but then to initiate major land offensives that took Mosul, for example, that was not on my intelligence radar screen," Obama told CNN's Fareed Zakaria in an interview airing Wednesday night.
There was no reason for Obama or those in his administration to be surprised, after all, they were warned about the consequences of rapidly leaving Iraq and did it anyway.
Obama knew a group like ISIS had potential, but ignored warnings for political and ideological reasons. The consequences for that decision have been deadly.
That’s because BHO actually believes he knows everything. If you don’t believe it just ask him!

So why isn’t he being vilified in the press, and called a liar for ignoring President Bush’s advice, and claiming ISIS was a JV team, when in reality they were actually the Varsity team? After all, they attacked Bush and his Administration, calling them liars when they stated that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.

How can you be surprised by something you armed and created?
It is a reference to the Levant. A much wider area than just Iraq and Syria.
ISIL then is used to indicate their greater ambitions to include Jordan and Israel as well as Syria.
This is actually an odd allowance for the threat ISIL wants to be from an administration that often sticks its head up its can over militant Islam.

The Obama bastard uses “ISIL” which gives them unwarranted wider claim to include all of the “Levant” (covers Israel, Lebanon, and “Palestine” as well as Syria). Thus, by doing his politically correct “ISIL” b.s. Obama lends support to ISIS claims to wider territorial legitimacy. Obama is scum.

No, that’s a paraphrase I completely made up. But your asking the question is a mild indication that you can probably imagine him saying it, right?
Other than a word or two, he wouldn’t use “cracker” or “honky” ....I can certainly imagine him saying that.
He’s never even entered the realm of saying “I screwed up”, has he? He “underestimated”. Or, “we’ve made a lot of progress but there’s so much more work to do”. Or, “We’ve made some progress, but I won’t rest until every blah blah has the opportunity to blah blah.” He is an absolute master of accusing his opponents of PRECISELY the behavior he has engaged in and he generally does this VERY CLOSE in time after he has done what he did that he now wishes to cast aspersion on in the here and now in a given speech.
In fact; I would say, this is the single specific skill he is the best at, I mean, the best I have ever seen, by far. To accuse his opposition of EXACTLY what he just got done doing...and it IS an accusation, meaning, it is couched in a demeaning tone. I’m 100% serious. He is the undisputed world champion at this.
