After 3 1/2 months in France this year, I am telling you I would rather be in Paris than a number of places in the U.S. Stop the hysteria about France and take a damn good look at the attacks we have had in the US!

What hysteria? No one here is denying what is happening here. Should we ignore what is happening in europe?

I agree that this is overblown. People write similar articles about places in the US and there are much more dangerous places in the US than Paris. In my experience (I am living in France at the moment in a town south of Paris), the problem with Paris are the number of tourists and the pickpockets/scam artists that prey on them (like most big cities with high levels of tourism).

It would be good if France could control their borders though as most of the trouble makers are gypsies and African ‘refugees’.

It would also be good if France fully brought their unions under control, reformed their bureaucracy, allow people to work as much as they choose too, cut taxes, and eliminated the stifling red tape.
