What’s the difference between Mozart and Drake, Beyoncé, Rihanna and Kanye West? Mozart had talent. I guarantee that 200 yeara after the other four are dead, no one will be listening to their “music.”

The difference between Mozart and the top of the pop charts today is the same as the difference between Shakespeare and the pulp novels that line grocery store aisles. The first has enduring value, the second list is of flavors of the month, destined to be forgotten and replaced by another flavor of the month when the fresh new car smell fades and marketing committees move on to their next gimmick.
